What Ya Gonna Do About Me

Album: Bad Reputation

Lyrics:

Pink hair flying
Don’t you see?
What you gonna do about me?

[Verse 1]
Dyed it bright last Tuesday night
Mom called crying
Dad’s not speaking
Neighbors staring through their blinds
What you gonna do about me?

[Verse 2]
Boss man frowning at my desk
Says “professional appearance”
I just smile and shake my head
Overtime ain’t worth my soul
What you gonna do about me?

[Chorus]
What you gonna do about me?
Can’t cage what won’t be tamed
What you gonna do about me?
I like myself this way
Pink hair don’t care
Pink hair don’t care
What you gonna do?

[Verse 3]
Ex keeps texting “you’ve changed girl”
Yeah I changed
Got some backbone
Threw out all those boring clothes
Found my voice and cranked it loud
What you gonna do about me?

[Chorus]
What you gonna do about me?
Can’t cage what won’t be tamed
What you gonna do about me?
I like myself this way
Pink hair don’t care
Pink hair don’t care
What you gonna do?

[Bridge]
Used to hide
Used to shrink
Now I’m loud
Now I think
For myself
By myself
What you gonna do?

[Final Chorus]
What you gonna do about me?
Can’t cage what won’t be tamed
What you gonna do about me?
I like myself this way
Pink hair don’t care
Pink hair don’t care
What you gonna do about me?

[Outro]
Pink hair flying
Don’t you see?
What you gonna do about me?
